For Father's Day, my girls purchased a really cool gift for their nerdy Dad...
A Force FX Lightsaber Construction Kit from Master Replicas!
This thing is awesome! It comes with a metal hilt and a glowing blade that allows you to change the color (red, green, and blue). It also has a bunch of interchangable parts so you can make it look like a lot of different lightsabers from the movies. It has all of the sound effects of a lightsaber!
I've seen these things all over the place, but usually they're only one particular character's lightsaber and they cost around $120. The girls only paid $35 at RadioShack for this one, on clearance! I've wanted one for a long time, but I've always kept from buying one because of the price. Now I have about any lightsaber I want for an incredible price! You see... patience pays off my friends.
Well, I'm going to go save the galaxy somewhere, now that I'm properly equipped!  |
